Go for poetic gold! Pick any summer sport, any style, any form. Bring your competitive spirit. Established poets and first-time participants welcome.
Priscila Uppal and the LRC are hosting a summer-sport themed poetry competition! Priscila Uppal will choose the winners - gold, silver, bronze - and the poem that takes the gold will be published online and in print at Literary Review of Canada.
There are a few rules:
- Poems must be 30 lines or less (excluding the title).
- Poems must be original, unpublished and in English.
Entry is free. All submissions must include entrant’s full name and contact information. Send submissions to email@example.com by 12:00 pm EST, September 10, 2012.
The winners will be announced September 24, 2012 at Poet’s Corner.
This contest is open to all Canadian residents.
